Township recognized as a "hotbed for industrial development"

Real estate newspaper Western Investor has named the Township of Langley one of the top places to invest in Western Canada.

The article , published May 16, looked at this municipality's growing population, easy-to-access location, employment sectors, commercial real estate rates, housing starts and more.

Cost of living is another reason why the Township is a great place to do business. As the article states, the benchmark price per residential and multi-family unit was $291,000 earlier this year, whereas detached homes started at a benchmark price of $875,300.

While many municipalities across the region are seeing schools close due to declining enrolment, the Township is seeing a boom in education with more and more schools being built. The Township is also attractive to investors because of its post-secondary options, with both Trinity Western University and Kwantlen Polytechnic University located here.
